Hanketta rahoittaa Pohjanmaan liiton julkistama Just Transition Fund (JTF). Hankkeen omistaja on Novia AMK ja hanke alkoi 01.05.2024.

SIDE STREAMS FROM THE POTATO INDUSTRY – AN ENERGY SOURCE?
The Power of Potatoes project is a two-year project that aims to investigate the possibilities in Ostrobothnia to make better use of side streams from the potato industry.
Can these volumes be of economic value to the producer if converted into green fuel? Which final product is most profitable to produce?
The project is financed by the Just Transition Fund (JTF), which is announced by the Regional Council of Ostrobothnia. The project owner is Novia University of Applied Sciences and the project started on 01.05.2024.
